What Should I do??

I've got an interesting dilemma here. A little bit ago a guy said that he was interested in buying my car, I thought not much of it, but now he has the money and will seriously buy my car from me, he wants it bad. He wants it with all the stuff on it and is willing to give me a little under $20.000 for it. I still owe the bank roughly 9,000 for my car , I would have about $10,000 left over if I sell it. So basicly I cant decide If I want to keep my teg or not, If I sell It Im gonna get a 96 hatch and put a SC B18C in it, that would be a pretty quick car! Also I could pick up a used hatch for a pretty cheap price and so my monthly payment would be lower. So basicly I would have a car that is faster and cheaper. But on the other hand, I do like my teg and I dont know if It would be worth it to sell it, but hell I dont know, I keep changing my mind. So, what Im wondering is, what would you guys do if you had this choice? Keep the teg or go hybrid??

Oh yea, here is a list of mods to my teg so you can get an idea of how much it is worth.

In either case, consider how much you've put into the car, on top of the cost of the car to get the final cost of the car to you. That way you can figure out if it's worth it or not. If you paid $13k, and you put in $6k, that means you paid $19k total. Since you only owe $9k now, that means you've lost $4k in value. So that brings the total to $15k out-of-pocket. For $20k, you're ahead $5k. Will that $5k allow you to make your hybrid? If not, then you'll be spending more money than what you've already put into the teg in the long run.

At least he's willing to pay you for your teg instead of the other poor fellas who got their tegs stolen by someone who "really wanted it bad".

Ackk! go hybrid I have a 93 civic hatch with a b18b in it and I love it, it handles awsome, excelerates wonderfully, and stops on a dime... I will be seeing 20psi or so very soon and the anticipation is killing me.. I would go hybrid, get a 96 cx hatch with high miles for about 6 to 7000k build the motor and pour on the boost, you will love it keep the exhaust and the rice down low and make a killer sleeper.. I am thinking about getting a lower profile exhaust and mabey even stock wheels with drag radials for the street and put my new shoes on for the shows and track..I wouldnt want it any other way it is and will be perfectly reliable and daily driven as well.
Anyhow good luck in the choice you make but you know what I would do....

Look at it this way: You'll never EVER find another person willing to buy your car "as is" for that much. Well, you might, but he won't live within 2,000 miles of you, and he won't have the money like this guy does. I say jump on it, unless you think it would be more fun down the road to strip the car back to stock and try to sell your parts on ebay. No thanks.

Heck, if he wants it that bad, try to talk him up!
